3rd grade was well protected today by members of the Justice League, Mrs. Lynch and Mrs. Balmat.

ALPHA students were asked to make the tallest pumpkin tower with only 30 toothpicks and 30 pumpkins. Some quickly realized that building a sturdy base was key to success. The tallest tower was 10 inches tall.

Can you build a catapult that will move a candy pumpkin the farthest? 5th grade Alpha students used 10 popsicle sticks and 5 rubber bands to complete this challenge.
